Rudy John Park (Laborie Beach) is a short stretch of white sand beach is just 10 minute drive from the house. It is definitely more authentic and less touristy than some of the other beaches in St. Lucia. It's a generally very quiet beach during the week but a popular spot for local residents during the weekends and holidays. There is a beach bar directly on the beach and just above the beach there is a small café and craft center where one can buy locally made souvenirs.
At the southern tip of the island, Sandy Beach is a beautiful strand of white sand on the Atlantic Ocean so it always has a stiff breeze, which makes it a hot spot for kitesurfers. It’s also suitable for swimming. Similar to Rudy John Beach Park, it is very quiet during the week day but attract the local residents during the weekend and on holidays. The Reef Kite and Windsurf Center, as well as two beach restaurant are located right on the beach.
Sugar Beach is a 137-m (150-yd) beach of imported light-colored sand and fronts the Viceroy Resort's portion of the rocky-shore bay of Jalousie Bay between St. Lucia's signature twin peaks, Petit Piton and Gros Piton. A secluded bay, accessible by sea is an excellent location for snorkeling or scuba diving.
Anse Mamin is a small black sand beach located next to Anse Chastenet Beach in Soufriere. The two beaches are linked by a path below some clifts.
